Endive's BIO
Endive is a Cincinnati-based band that was created in 1997 by current members Doug Powers and John Morse. Bass player Jeremy Nichols and lead vocalist Faith Elleman joined the band in the early aughts, and Endive played the music scene throughout the Cincinnati area.
They were a regular presence at popular Cincinnati venues such as Mt. Lookout Tavern, Millions, Beer Sellar, JB Finns, Montgomery Towne Tavern, and many more. They played a variety of events like Reds’ Opening Day celebration in Newport (KY), corporate events, wedding receptions, and private parties. In addition to playing a busy schedule, Endive also wrote and recorded the original album 33 Months (released in 2006).

After a few years of downtime and side projects, Endive reunited in 2014 to focus on writing a second album. Their original music pulls from a variety of influences, perhaps most noticeably from the 90's alt-rock era. Since reuniting, Endive has performed in special events like the Flying Pig Marathon, the Music Off McMillan Series (Walnut Hills Redevelopment Foundation), and the Wilmington Art and Soul Festival. These days, you can see Endive performing at the Southgate House Revival, Oregon Express, Stanley's Pub, the Listing Loon, and other Cincinnati/Dayton venues. Endive’s second album, Car Ride Philosophy, was released in the Summer of 2018.
